Well I'd be super embarrassed cause one I'm a pony and I've been telling her that MLP is stupid, and two how would she even get to Equestria in the first place? And three, I'd be weirded out cause my daughter's human counterpart is our creator... and yeah, fine. Leaving the fourth wall alone.

Welcome to April 8, 2016. I was sitting in my classroom looking up MLP stuff and thought, "hey, a ton of this is on a place called DeviantArt, maybe I should check that out." So I did, and I made an account. My main OC (at the time) was a unicorn pony called Night Shadow (image below). Therefore, nightshadowmlp was born. That was five years ago. I was in middle school, eighth grade to be exact. Now, I am a freshman in college. Back in 2016, I was a very different person. Hell, I still thought I was straight back then! /j /lh So without further ado, I hereby announce that I will be leaving this account. I have had a great time as nightshadowmlp. 118 watchers, 12.4K pageviews, and 1.1K deviations! Art styles changed, fandom interests changed, and yet everything still went smoothly. 2. I'm actually not really in the MLP fandom as much as I used to be. When I started this account, I was a huge MLP fan, but now I haven't seen ANY of Season 9... and I feel like I'm just content with drawing ponies ^^

Season 9 Episodes 1 and 2 (because the first 2 and the last 2 episodes always air back to back) air April 6th at 11:30 am on Discovery Family.
I probably won't be watching them (sadly) because my dad says no ponies until the summer. Crap.

I wrote a fanfiction that I'm still not done with yet, but this is the first part of the first chapter. I just wanted to share it and get feedback.
Chapter 1: A New Spell
Ponyville, Equestria
7:30 am
Spike knew something wasn't normal. It was pretty obvious when he woke up in the middle of the night- too early for him, he might add- and the light was still on downstairs.
As he walked down the stairs, he heard zapping sounds. That in itself was pretty weird, but then he jumped back. A bolt of magic had zipped by him, almost hitting him. Spike sighed, and facepalmed.
